I have determined what I will need to buy for my Christmas sewing. Now I need to figure out where to get it.
I am a huge advocate of the 3/50 project. If you don’t know what that is, please go to http://www.the350project.net/home.html
Small business in the US provides employment for over half of the American population. I assume that it is a large part of other countries as well. When the economy is hurting, these are the folks that feel it the most. Please support your local small businesses.
So, my first inclination is to scope out my local quilt shop. I am always amazed there by the wonderful fabrics they get in.
If I can’t find what I am looking for there, I will walk in to a big box fabric place, but only out of desperation.
I also do quite a bit of shopping online. I like the selection and the prices, but, sometimes I have problems with colors. It is a great alternative and the home delivery makes up for the time delay.
There are so many options for us and I encourage you to explore all of them.
